Last updated: August 10, 2026
The product in brief
- Name
- Device Trust Scan — written in Latin script in every language, never translated.
- What it is
- An iPhone security-settings audit that produces a single score from 0 to 100.
- Scope
- 28 checks across 6 categories, part automatic and part a guided checklist.
- Platform
- iPhone, iOS 16.0 and later. Not built for iPad, Mac or Apple Watch.
- Languages
- English, Russian, Spanish, German, French — including the wording of every check.
- Privacy
- No account, no analytics SDKs, no servers. One external request: a breach check against XposedOrNot.
Accurate wording
Correct
- “checks your settings”
- “shows the weak spots”
- “explains how to fix them”
- “watches for breaches involving your email address”
Inaccurate — please avoid
- “antivirus”, “removes viruses”, “finds spyware”
- “blocks hackers”, “real-time protection”
- “scans your other apps”
Why it matters
The app does not block or remove anything. It audits settings and gives recommendations. Claiming otherwise misleads readers about what iOS even permits an app to do.
